Dr. Franco Ortiz Vidal opened Paseos Veterinary Center in January 2007. This clinic is equipped with the latest technology and modern facilities. Additionally we offer a highly qualified and professional team.     Dr. Ortiz Vidal graduated from Colegio San Ignacio in 1995 to go on and pursue his studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he completed with honors his Bachelor Degree and his Doctorate Degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2004. In Puerto Rico he has worked in diverse hospitals and at the same time has over three years practicing veterinary emergencies. Dr. Ortiz started Paseos Veterinary Center's family in the year 2007.

  • Dra. Maritere Benavent


    Dr. Benavent studied at the University of  Massachusetts Amherst where she acquired a double Bachelor Degree in Chemistry and Animal Science. With a concentration in Animal Nutrition, she graduated with honors in 2005. Afterwards she completed her Doctorate Degree in Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University in 2010. In Puerto Rico she has worked in various hospitals with experience in both large and small animals, and veterinary emergency. Dr. Benavent became part of Paseos Veterinary Center's family in 2011.

    Dr. Franchesca Caballero

    Dr. Caballero graduated from Academia Cristo de los Milagros in 2007. She graduated with honors and obtained her Doctorate Degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2013, at the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She applied her knowledge in both small and large animal health during her last year of rotation. Dr. Caballero became part of the Paseos Veterianry Center's family in the year 2014.
